tv shows with the best soundtracks

I. Moon Knight

Song example: "Enta" by DJ Kaboo

Moon Knight’s soundtrack is hands down the best we’ve ever heard in a long ass time. Moon Knight is a new series on @disneyplus created by @marvel by lead Egyptian director Mohamed Diab. The series includes an incredible film score by Hesham Nazih and fire Egyptian tracks that are changing the world as we speak. The one included in our example by @djkaboois an example of Arab trap - a new rising genre that mixes middle eastern culture with trap culture. Not only does the series change the game by @marvel hiring their first ever Arab director but shows how bringing in culture makes shows and movies 10x more profitable and popular - contrary to what the industry has previously believed.

2. Westworld

Song example: "Video Games" by

Ramin Djawadi (cover of "Video Games" by Lana del Rey

@westworldhbo by HBO is film scored by the incredible

@Ramindjawadi_official, an Iranian-German film scorer who is mentioned twice in this list for his award-winning soundtracks. Westworld’s last episode of season 4 just ended and this season featured iconic classical twists on popular songs. The example used here is by Lana del Rey and I can confirm a lot of tears were spilled.

3. Succession

Song example: "Andante Con Moto" (String Variation) by

Nicholas Britell

Succession by @hbo is film scored by @nicholasbritell, an American film scorer who graduated from Julliard School and Harvard. Nicholas’s work is nothing short of genius - our favorite album is season 2 of succession. The whole thing is a masterpiece from top to bottom #teamkendall

4. The New Pope

Song example: "Good Time Girl" by

Sofie Tukker ft. Charlie Barker

The New Pope by @hbo gained a lot of criticism but hey we love criticism here at perediza. The scene that includes the song “Good Time Girl” by @SofiTukker was incredible and deserved a place on the list!

5. Game of Thrones

Song example: "A Lannister Always Pays his Debts" by

 Ramin Djawadi

We had to include another one of Ramin’s (@Ramindjawadi_official) masterpieces - his work on @gameofthrones made us sort of forget how bad the ending was.

6. Breaking Bad

Song example: "Uh" by Fujiya & Miyagi

Ooof this scene in @breakingbad got us all falling in love with the show even more. Using the song “Uh” by @FujiyaandMiyagi was spot on for the cooking scene. An incredible relationship between directing and music.

7. Peaky Blinders

Song example: "Ballad of a Thin Man" by

Richard Hawley (Cover of "Ballad of a Thin Man" by Bob Dylan)

@PeakyBlinders makes you want to join a gang every time it slow-mos Tommy Shelby and his boys heading toward danger. This song in the latest season was just the cherry on top. The iconic Bob Dylan song covered by @RichardHalwley's dark voice combines perfectly with the cinematography and storyline of the latest and last season of the iconic show.

8. POSE

Song example: "Never Knew Love Like This Before"

by Stephanie Mills

This performance by miss candy with this song in @poseonfx had us crying uncontrollably, with snot, tissues, and all! The contagious incredible performance by @angelicaross with this iconic song by Stephanie mills made for the perfect lip sync (to die for !!) Emmy’s where are you???

9. Bridgerton

Song example: "Wrecking Ball" by Midnite String Quartet (Cover

of "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus)

Last but not least, it seems that classical covers of modern music are all the heat right now because who knew wrecking ball, a song by @mileycyrus that got her so much hate can make you crave romance, a waltz dance with your crush, and a corset or top hat to make your @Birdgertonnetflix fantasy complete? The beautiful Midnite String Quartet gives us a classical twist on the iconic Wrecking Ball song by @MileyCyrus

We hope you all enjoyed our list. Please share, save, and go watch these shows and enjoy the music !
